Going out into the Surrounding Community

The Goucher bubble is what happens when you feel too comfortable to leave campus and explore. I personally do not feel trapped in the bubble but when I do I just plan an outing with people and end up somewhere in Baltimore.

  1. So, do you still think it's possible for me to branch out and explore if I'm motivated? Do people stay there because they are not trying to get out...? Or is it just difficult?

    1. We think it is some of both. We found that people didn't find getting off campus easy, due to navigation, public transit, and Goucher's seclusion.

The disconnect between the administration and Goucher's community with facilitating getting involved with the Greater Goucher Community can be daunting for people and so they don't seek out ways to get off campus on their own.
